Topography

is a series of photographs created during a short and intense period. The photos are shot
spontaneously and intended as a play with the curves and lines, rolls and folds of my baby
boy’s body.
I wanted the pictures to express more than merely a human body; a landscape in bright
sun or a cool moon, curves with sudden falls or great tranquility, laziness or even playfulness.

The series were first shown at Kunstnerforbundet in Oslo in January 1999, and were late
shown in Christiansand Kunstforening and Sandefjord Kunstforening same year.

Orginalsize are 115 x 115 cm, and there are 15 images in the series.
